Friends of Pajaro Dunes Vision Statement

Provide stewardship for the “last mile” of Watsonville Slough by preserving native habitat and wildlife, collaborating with the neighboring community and educating all who visit.

The Friends of Pajaro Dunes is a non-profit public benefit corporation for the preservation and protection of open space in the Pajaro Valley by:

• Encouraging sustainable agriculture
• Promoting an adequate water supply
• Enhancing and restoring the natural slough and wetlands systems, and
• Encouraging habitat restoration to maintain the natural beauty of our environment
