Interpretive Panels Installed at Pelican Point

On April 21st, the two interpretive panels were installed on the South end of Pajaro Dunes. Residents and visitors will find valuable information about the habitat and its visitors on these two beautiful panels.

Just down the stairs from Pelican Point, the first panel describes the dune habitat. Visitors get a glimpse of the elusive Snowy Plover.

At the serene resting bench overlooking the slough, the second panel gives the casual visitor an overview of the visitors that they may see as they relax on the bench and watch nature go by.

These signs are possible because of the generous support of Sand Castle Properties, Daw Properties, and KBK Insurance. The Woodworks has donated their time and materials to install the panels at both locations.
